MATCHES AGAINST THE LIVERPOOL SOCIETY 2021
The two matches, home and away, against Liverpool, did go ahead but, once again, under an altered format. Travel restrictions were still in place. Dining was again optional. The first match at Gathurst was a most enjoyable occasion and the result was a draw, 3 and a half each.
The same restrictions were still in place for the second match at Wirral. Once again, dining was optional. The result was a home win, 4 and a half, to 1 and a half.
BRIDGE DRIVE
MONDAY OCTOBER 26TH 2021
PRENTON GOLF CLUB
Wirral were unable to host the Bridge Drive. My thanks go to Prenton for their assistance, excellent catering and, again, being so welcoming.
A very big thank you to the most efficient, hard working tournament director, Pat MacDonnell, who ensured everything ran smoothly. 52 ladies played.

Winner: J Jones Bidston
Second: C Linforth Prenton
Third: A Jones Bromborough
Those of you who played will know that we had to run a raffle to raise the funds to cover the room hire. Thank you to all who gave so generously. After discussion, we agreed to use this to purchase a cloth for use the Presentation table. The cloth is blue and will have the Society emblem embroidered on it.
